Mixed-breed Dog Show
Every year, ANAA holds a Mixed-breed Dog Show (pedigree dogs are also welcome). Classes range from the Biggest; the Hairiest; the Handsomest; the Prettiest; to the Best Child-Dog Couple, and many more.

There is also a bar, shop, tombola, information desks, photographic competition for cats, and other activities. This is a day to be enjoyed by all the family.

Thirteenth Universal Children’s Day 2004
With the theme "By protecting our planet..., we are protecting our future", ANAA was present with an information desk on 6 June at the “el Lago” enclosure in Coslada (Madrid). Apart from raising the awareness of children and parents about the benefits and responsibilities involved in having pets, there was a competition called, “Paint us a dog and we’ll give you a prize” for which there were many entries, some of them shown below. The event was very popular among children and parents alike.
