What is a foster owner?
The re-homing centre is not the right place for puppies and kittens, for many of those we rescue have not been vaccinated and are very weak. However much care we try to take, the smallest may become sick. We volunteers often take them home with us, but there are times when there are more puppies and kittens than temporary homes available. We need generous-hearted folk who would be willing to give a temporary home to puppies or kittens while we are giving them their vaccinations and seeking a permanent new owner for them.

Unfortunately, only people belonging to the Community of Madrid may act as foster owners, for the young animals must be brought to our centre quite often to be vaccinated and when the case arises, permanently adopted.
