Animals are a part of our community, so it is becoming more and more necessary that they be governed by an insurance to cover any damage they may cause. By law, civic responsibility falls on the pet’s owner. In Madrid and other autonomous communities, the community laws oblige the owner of a domestic pet to contract an Insurance to cover Civic Responsibility for any damage the animal may inflict on third parties. ANAA and Mapfre are privileged to offer pet owners a Civil Responsibility Insurance to cover all pets’ needs and the risks for which you are responsible as an owner. This insurance also includes Legal Defence against possible complaints or processes that may be brought against you as a pet owner, and the claims for damages you may present as a victim. Please bear in mind that if you take out a MAPFRE insurance through ANAA, the association will receive a percentage for each policy, which will be used for the protection of animals.
