Become a volunteer
If you want to be part of our team and are determined to dedicate time, effort, and to commit yourself in a serious and responsible manner, first you must attend an animal protection and ANAA awareness talk day.
To be a volunteer it is essential to be over 18 years old (or over 16 with authorization), reside in the Community of Madrid or Guadalajara; also due to the difficulty of arriving by public transportation it is highly recommended to have your own vehicle, since the tasks are carried out at our Adoption Center. You must keep in mind that, among the activities of this volunteering, tasks that involve lifting weight and certain physical effort are performed.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years (or over 16 with authorization).
- Reside in the Community of Madrid, Guadalajara or surroundings.
- Have your own vehicle or possibility of commuting to the center.
- Respect the people and animals at the center.
- Make a responsible use of ANAA's material assets.
- Comply with the instructions that are communicated.
- Promote teamwork.
- Maintain due confidentiality of the information received.
Objectives and tasks:
- Cleaning and maintenance of the facilities.
- Rehabilitation and work with the animals.
- Veterinary support.
- Administrative support.
- Adoptions and attention to sponsors.
- Execution and assistance at events.
- Animal rescue and management of feline colonies.
- Transportation and solidarity trips for animals.
